Kolejna gra zręcznościowa z poruszającym się z ponaddźwiękową prędkością jeżem Sonickiem w roli głównej.
Tym razem arcywróg naszego bohatera – diaboliczny dr Eggman przygotował zupełnie nowy plan dominacji nad światem. W wybudowanym przez siebie międzygalaktycznym parku rozrywki uwięził rasę kosmicznych Ogników (Wisps), których energia ma posłużyć mu jako paliwo podczas realizacji złowrogiego planu. Przetrzymywanym wbrew ich woli stworzeniom, rusza na pomoc dzielny jeż Sonic. Niebieski bohater szybko odkrywa, że w walce z doktorem Eggmanem jest w stanie wykorzystać kolorową moc kosmicznych istot, dzięki czemu może między innymi zakopywać się w ziemi lub używać mocy lasera.
W Sonic Colors, podobnie jak w innych grach z niebieskim bohaterem w roli głównej, sterujemy poczynaniami sprytnego i niezwykle szybkiego jeża, który dzięki swej niesamowitej zręczności i szybkości z łatwością pokonuje kolejnych przeciwników i przeszkody.

Sonic Colors - dynamic action, in which Sonic runs on different worlds, made in the style of amusement parks, in an attempt to save colored aliens from the evil Dr. Eggman. The plot tells the story of how an unusual amusement park has been seen on the home planet orbiting Sonic. Also there were rumors, which states that an extraterrestrial race called the «Wisps», with its unique color of energy, was captured by the evil Dr. Eggmanom. Shortly after arriving in the amusement park, Sonic finds that it can use the force of these mysterious creatures to help them escape.
All Wisp'y presented in the game, have a unique color of the Force. If you release this force, Sonic can absorb it, and greatly accelerated. Also this super hero power will create new ways of levels, for example, prosverlivaya in the land of the hole, or a race around the level in the form of laser. If you use multiple forces simultaneously, the effect will be even stronger.
